The taste of the wine is elegant, juicy, expressive, lively, drinkable, perfectly balanced, with good acidity, sweet strong tannins, fruity hints and a long aftertaste with tones of ripe berries. “Karas” Red is a dry red wine, the excellent blend of which is dominated by Syrah, Malbec, Cabernet Franc grapes, supplemented by a small proportion of other red autochthonous and international varieties. The varietal composition varies depending on the vintage. The vineyard terroir is characterized by a mountainous continental climate with hot summers and cold, dry winters. The soils are heavy, rocky, and of volcanic origin. The harvest is harvested by hand in mid-September. The grapes are carefully sorted, separated from the ridges and subjected to three days of cold maceration. Fermentation takes place at a temperature of 26-28 ° C for 20 days. Then malolactic fermentation takes place for 15-20 days and aging for 8 months in stainless steel containers.
