The wine has a straw-golden color. It intrigues with a refreshing, rich aroma woven from notes of peach, nectarine, melon, minerals, wildflowers, and honeysuckle. The wine exhibits a clean, smooth taste with fruity-mineral accents and a subtle acidity in a prolonged aftertaste. Petit Chablis is an elegant, enticing wine produced from Chardonnay grapes grown in the vineyard in the village of Chichee. The vineyard soil is limestone, and the average age of the grapevines is 30 years. After harvesting, the berries go through a pneumatic press. Alcoholic fermentation with selected yeast strains takes place in stainless steel tanks for optimal preservation of all terroir characteristics. Following alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation occurs. The aging process takes place on lees in stainless steel tanks. Petit Chablis wine is recommended to be consumed within the next 3 years.
