A wine of rich ruby-red color. The aroma of the wine showcases a perfect combination of fruity notes (cherry, grape, plum, blackberry), floral nuances, and hints obtained from oak barrel aging (vanilla, licorice, gingerbread). The impressive taste of the wine has a full structure and leaves a rich, lingering aftertaste. “Takar” Reserve is a dry red wine created by winemaker Laurent Dubreuil with the participation of wine consultant Jean-Baptiste Soula. The blend is composed of Areni and Saperavi grape varieties grown in the Vayots Dzor region and the Ararat Valley. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 1000-1500 meters above sea level. The harvest is handpicked and carefully selected using a sorting table. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration at a temperature of 26-28 °C take place in stainless steel tanks and last for two weeks. After natural malolactic fermentation in steel tanks, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels and aged for 18 months.
