Description
This wine boasts a fresh, dry, and easy-drinking taste with fruity, citrusy accents. The finish is bright, refreshing, and light, with a subtle phenolic note. The aroma is composed of etheric notes of stone fruit, banana peel, and quince paste, creating a sophisticated bouquet. Le Fornaci has a rich flavor with notes of peach and is made from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes grown in the company’s own vineyards on the shores of Lake Garda in Desenzano del Garda. One plot is located on calcareous and clayey soils, while the other two have a sandy, silty texture. The clay-grown grapes impart body and structure, while the sandy-grown grapes add aroma and elegance. The wine is aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks for three months.
