Description
This wine boasts a vibrant, harmonious, and fresh flavor with hints of ripe apples, citrus, smoky, and creamy notes. It has a pronounced minerality, a slight salinity, and crisp acidity, with hints of almond in the finish. The aroma reveals notes of pear, ripe yellow apples, mango, lemon, wild herbs, and flowers such as chamomile, elderflower, iris, and sage. Smoky nuances and hints of almond lend a special charm to the bouquet. “Levarie” is a classic example of the great Veronese tradition, created by Masi with a modern twist. It is made from the traditional Garganega and Trebbiano grape varieties characteristic of the Soave Classico zone. The vines grow on the volcanic soils of the eastern slopes. The wine is aged for four months: 80% in stainless steel tanks and 20% in oak barrels.
