Description
The palate is youthful and fruity, with a fresh, citrusy, and appley flavor, as well as hints of spice and herbs. The aroma is slightly muted, with apple and herbal notes, citrusy, almond, and floral undertones. Masianco is a fresh, aromatic, and fruity white wine that is an unmistakable interpretation of Pinot Grigio from Venice, produced using the appassimento method. It is a “super Venetian” with a distinctive personality. Pinot Grigio is complemented by Verduzzo grapes from Friuli. After harvest, the grapes are dried on straw mats, which enhances the fruity aromas and flavors. The grapes are then gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Each variety is aged separately for three months: Pinot Grigio in stainless steel tanks, and Verduzzo in oak barriques. The blending takes place 45 days before bottling.
