Description
On the palate, the wine is dense, round, and very rich, with a silky texture. Ripe dark berries, chocolate, oak, and a light metallic minerality are clearly visible. The tannins are fine-grained, firm, and well-rounded; the finish is dry, long, and structured. The aroma is complex and multilayered: blackberry, cherry, orange zest, spices, earth, vanilla, and a pronounced mineral note. Everything develops gradually and purely. The color is deep, cherry-ruby, dense at the edge. An excellent pairing with meat, game, duck, veal, and moderately aged cheeses. Pinot Noir from Volnay, a vineyard near Pommard. Temperature-controlled fermentation, classic extraction, 12-16 months of oak aging, 20% of which is new barrels. The wine is already showing character but can easily develop for up to 20 years in the bottle. A classic Burgundy with a strict style and great potential.
