Description

The wine has a brilliant garnet color with crimson highlights. The expressive aroma envelops with intense notes of ripe cherry, blackcurrant, and blueberry, complemented by nuances of sweet spices, hazelnut, and mint. The wine captivates with a soft, full, pleasant, elegant taste featuring a juicy fruit core, well-integrated tannins, harmonious acidity, and a very long, vibrant aftertaste with hints of blackberry.

“Ariats” Kes Kakhani is a rich red dry wine in the ancient Armenian style, produced from the Areni grape variety with a small proportion of other indigenous red grape varieties. The grapes are cultivated in the unique terroir of the Vayots Dzor region. Harvested at optimal ripeness, the grapes undergo drying for 2-3 months. Subsequently, half of the raisined berries undergo cold maceration to achieve a bright color and a multifaceted aroma. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 15°C in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for at least 6 months in new barrels made from century-old Armenian oak. It is recommended to serve the wine with meat dishes, especially grilled meat and game, as well as cheeses.
