Chablis Premier Cru “Montmain” AOC

Dry white wine Gerard Tremblay, Chablis Premier Cru “Montmain” is a classic Chablis from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Montmain vineyard of the Premier Cru category in Chablis. The Montmain vineyard plots are distinguished by their unique location (left bank of the Serein River) and microclimate, as well as a special soil composition of alternating layers of marl, limestone and clay with a significant content of marine fossils. Vinification of Chardonnay, hand-picked and carefully selected, takes place in steel tankers at a controlled temperature. Part of the wine is aged in oak barrels. The taste of the wine is balanced, fresh, fruity, with pleasant tones of minerals, notes of apple and pear sorbet, and marine shades. The crisp, mineral aroma of the wine gradually develops in the glass, moving from bright shades of chalk to notes of lavender, iodine, salty sea pebbles and citrus fruits.
