Description
“Karas” Dry Muscat is a dry white wine that goes well with hard cheeses, white meat and light snacks. Muscat grapes grow high in the mountains, on dense rocky soils of volcanic origin. The vines are at least 10 years old. The harvest is hand-picked and the berries are pressed at the winery. This is followed by cold decantation of the must, which lasts 24 hours. The juice is fermented for 20 days at a controlled temperature of 14-16 °C. Then the wine is aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks. The wine has a bright, refined taste with crisp acidity, fruity-floral shades and a medium-length aftertaste. The intense aroma of the wine reveals shades of ripe fruit (pineapple, mango) and light notes of rose petals.
