Description
The wine has an intense aroma with expressive tones of ripe red fruits and dark berries, permeated with hints of chocolate and spicy spices. The taste of the wine is full, rich, elegant, with good balance and structure, juicy fruit tones and piquant woody-spicy touches, well-integrated tannins, fresh acidity and a long, dry finish. “Karas” Reserve Blend is a dry red wine made from a blend of international grape varieties. The vineyard terroir is characterized by a mountainous continental climate with hot summers and cold, dry winters. The soils are heavy, rocky, and of volcanic origin. The harvest is harvested by hand in mid-September in 20-kilogram boxes. At the winery, the berries are sorted on double selection tables. After cold maceration for 5 days, fermentation is carried out at a temperature of 26-28 ºC for 20 days and malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged in 225 liter French and Armenian oak barrels for 14 months.
