Description
The complex aroma of the wine reveals tones of red fruit, light hints of spices, toast and vanilla. The taste of the wine is elegant, full, soft, well-balanced and structured, with silky ripe tannins, notes of red fruit and a long, well-developed finish. Wine “Karasi” is a tribute to the great winemaking traditions of Armenia, which date back 6,200 years, as well as to the Areni Noir grape variety, thanks to which this wine has a genuine national spirit. The uniqueness of the Karassi wine lies in the harmonious combination of modern style and the characteristics of one of the world’s oldest grape varieties. The name of the wine, meaning “from an amphora”, refers to the way the wine was aged. It is interesting that clay amphorae are buried 20% in the ground for aging.
