Description
The aroma of the wine reveals sweet notes of red berries, cherries, cherries and lychees, accompanied by floral shades (rose, lavender) and spicy notes (sandalwood, rosemary and others). The taste of the wine is soft, with sweet tannins and well-balanced fresh acidity, which make the wine easy to drink, lively and piquant. “Peppoli” is a fresh, lively wine with good structure and bright fruit and berry shades and spicy aroma. This style of wine is made possible by the unique microclimate in which the grapes are grown to create Peppoli. The vineyards are planted in the valley on particularly favorable soils, rich in minerals, ideal for growing Sangiovese, full of vitality and fruit. Tenuta Peppoli, located in the heart of Chianti Classico, covers 100 hectares, of which 50 hectares are devoted to vineyards. The first vintage of “Peppoli” was released in 1988.
