Shablis Grand Cru “Les Clos”

Description

The wine has a fresh, seductive aroma with notes of grapefruit and lemon. The taste of the wine is light, elegant, with notes of sherbet and apple peel, exquisite acidity and a harmonious aftertaste. Domaine Long-Depaquit, Chablis Grand Cru “Les Clos” AOC is a luxurious white wine created by master winemakers from Chardonnay grapes that grow in the famous Grand Cru vineyard – “Le Clos”. This vineyard has a south-east exposure, the soils are composed of Kimmeridgian limestone and clay interspersed with marl. The average age of the vines reaches 30 years. The harvest is harvested exclusively by hand, the berries are immediately sent to the winery for careful selection and subsequent gentle pressing. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks (65%) and old oak barrels (35%). The wine is aged on the lees for 11 months in barrels and steel vats, and then another six months in stainless steel tanks. Wine Chablis Grand Cru “Les Clos” seduces with its organoleptic properties from the first seconds.
