Description
Yacoubian-Hobbs is a new project by world-renowned winemaker Paul Hobbs, born out of a partnership with the Yacoubian family. Yacoubian-Hobbs Armenian wines are modern, world-class wines from local varieties grown in the highlands of Armenia on the mineral-rich soils of the Vayots Dzor region. This wine, aged in French oak, second-hand from Cahors, is named Sarpina after the poles used to train the vines, as recorded in Armenian agricultural history books. The wine is distinguished by a rich, powerful and elegant taste, complemented by warm nuances of cocoa and black pepper. The wine captivates with a luxurious, elegant aroma with multifaceted tones of dark berries, spicy plum, undergrowth and spices.
