Alamos Malbec

The Alamos line of wines has been produced since 1993, this is the second line of the Catena Zapata winery after Catena. Alamos is translated from Spanish as “poplar”, in Argentina it often grows around vineyards. The taste of the wine is round, balanced, with fruity-balsamic shades, fine-grained tannins and spicy nuances in a long aftertaste. The wine demonstrates a rich, complex aroma, woven from notes of cherry, currant, blueberry, undergrowth, spices and wood.
