The harmonious aroma of the wine intrigues with notes of raspberries, blackberries and cherries, framed by delicate floral lace. The taste of the wine is rich, bright, juicy, with an abundance of berry shades, refreshing acidity, light tannic astringency and an appetizing grapefruit bitterness in the aftertaste. “Kataro” Rose is a fresh and harmonious dry pink wine, which is produced from Areni and Tozot grape varieties grown on the lands of the Vayots Dzor region. The unique terroir helps to maximize the potential of each variety. The grapes are cultivated at an altitude of 600-700 meters above sea level. Mild winters and sunny summers contribute to the harmonious ripening of grapes; environmentally friendly viticulture methods preserve an intense and pronounced taste. After harvest, the grapes are sorted, pressed and subjected to traditional vinification, including a short maceration to obtain a beautiful pink color. The wine is aged for a short time in steel tanks, as a result of which the wine retains its freshness and acquires an elegant aroma. The wine is ideal as an aperitif, as well as paired with appetizers, fish, seafood, salads, cream cheeses and berry desserts.
