The wine has a light pink color. The refreshing, elegant aroma of the wine unfolds with hints of peach, strawberry, raspberry, rose petals, and minerals. The wine enchants with a soft, clean taste featuring a smooth texture, citrus-berry accents, and a subtle acidity in a balanced aftertaste. The semi-dry rosé wine “La Jaglerie” Rose d’Anjou is produced from grapes grown in the ancient winemaking region of Anjou, located south of the city of Angers. The vineyard soils are rich in limestone and silica. Grapes are harvested at full maturity. Vinification follows the traditional method for rosé wines, including partial maceration and partial use of the “saignee” method. Fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature of 16-18 °C. Subsequently, must stabilization takes place at a reduced temperature in an inert gas atmosphere, followed by a brief aging in stainless steel tanks. The wine has a storage potential of 2 to 5 years.
