Description
The wine’s expressive aroma is represented by hints of ripe and sweet dark plums, blackberries and blueberries, decorated with tones of dark spices and piquant touches of cocoa powder. The wine has a juicy, refined, fruity taste with fine-grained tannins, fresh acidity and a round, slightly smoky, medium-length finish. “Faustino V” Reserva is a real Spanish “aristocrat”, a classic red wine from the Rioja region, created from autochthonous grape varieties: the dominant Tempranillo and Mazuelo, which are grown in a mild climate on soils with a high lime content. The wine has a beautiful, rich aroma with an emphasis on shades of red berries and a very attractive, soft taste. During the production process, selected berries undergo a 10-day fermentation at a temperature of 29 ° C and maceration on the skins for 20 days, after which the wine is aged for a minimum of 24 months in American oak barrels from Missouri.
