Laforet

Description

The wine exhibits a generous aroma in which notes of cherry, blackberry and plum are harmoniously complemented by nuances of spices, thyme, cloves and herbs. The wine intrigues with a soft, clean taste with a velvety texture, fruity and balsamic tones and elegant tannins in a long finish. “Laforet” Pinot Noir is a charming, elegant wine with a beautiful berry aroma and a refreshing, very harmonious fruity taste. To produce wine, grapes are strictly selected from various plots belonging to the Maison Joseph Drouin estate. The soils of the vineyards are composed of clay and limestone. The planting density of vines is quite high – 10,000 vines per hectare, but the yield is deliberately reduced and limited to 62 hl / ha to extract all possible nuances of the terroir.
