Tus

Description

The wine attracts with a refreshing, harmonious aroma, woven from notes of white stone fruits, quince, minerals and herbs. The taste of the wine is round, balanced, with a smooth texture, citrus and mineral tones and lively acidity in the aftertaste. “Tus” White is a dry white wine made from the autochthonous Lalvari grape variety. The berries grow in vineyards in northern Armenia, in the village of Koghb in the Tavush region. Harvesting is carried out manually at the moment of optimal ripeness of the berries; at the winery, the fruits are pressed with a pneumatic press, followed by fermentation taking place in steel tanks with strict temperature control. The wine is aged for 10-12 months in stainless steel vats. The wine will pair with fish dishes, cheeses, light meat snacks, and is also perfect as an aperitif.
