Description
The expressive aroma of the wine is woven with tones of ripe stone fruit, complemented by delicate floral and delicate spicy nuances. The wine captivates with its fresh, deep, complex and multifaceted taste with bright acidity and a long, dry aftertaste. Wine “Voski” is created from two ancient indigenous grape varieties: Voskehat and Garandmak. Archaeological evidence suggests that both varieties have been present in Armenia for thousands of years. Voskehat, whose name means “golden grain”, is considered the queen of Armenian grapes. This variety with small golden-colored berries with a relatively thin skin has won people’s love for its varied and very rich aromatic bouquet. Garandmak (or Garan Dmak), which means fat tail, is one of the most popular varieties in Armenia. It is very hardy, has a greenish-yellow color, fairly large berries and a thick peel. Combined, these varieties produce a beautiful wine that has genuine spirit and amazing vibrancy. The grapes are grown at an altitude of 1400 meters above sea level. The age of the vines ranges from 30 to 40 years.
